Shirley Bigger

Shirley Harding Bigger, 76, of Keysville, VA, passed away on December 9, 2012. She was born on January 8, 1936 in Lunenburg County to the late Andrew and Alma Robertson Harding. She is survived by her husband, William H. “Sammy” Bigger, Jr.; two sons, William Bigger and wife, Amy of Keysville, VA, and Ronnie and wife, Connie of Keysville, VA; two grandchildren, Mary Kathryn Bigger and Ashley Nicole Bigger; one sister, Patricia Byrd of Mineral, VA; and one half-brother, Samuel Watson of Fredericksburg, VA. Mrs. Bigger was a very active member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and she owned and operated Boswell Bookkeeping in Chase City, VA. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 from 7 until 8:30 p.m. at Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at 3 p.m.at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Reverend Coan Agee and Reverend Alden Hicks officiating. Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
