Margaret Price

Margaret Shelton Price, 83, of Chase City, VA, passed away on February 15, 2013. She was born on April 2, 1929 in Lunenburg County to the late Durrell and Maggie Shelton. She is survived by her sons, James E. Price and wife Nadine, William G. Price and wife Brenda, Harold E. Price and wife Virginia, David R. Price and wife Betty, and Mark A. Price all of Chase City, VA; one brother, Alton E. Shelton; twelve grandchildren, thirty six great-grandchildren, twelve great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by one brother, Harry Shelton; two sisters, Mildred Hicks and Vertie Townsend; and two grandchildren. She was a member of Faith Baptist Tabernacle Church. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2013 from 6:30 until 8 p.m. at the Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 17, 2013 at 2 p.m. at the Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home chapel. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
