Leroy Foster

Leroy Foster, 84, of Chase City, VA, passed away on March 16, 2013. He was born on December 18, 1928 in Charlotte County, VA. He is survived by his daughters, Carrilee Foster Spence of Chase City, VA, Angela Foster of Durham, NC, and Patty Barnette of Broadnax, VA, one sister, Charlotte Adams of Drakes Branch, VA, one brother, Sammy Foster of Richmond, VA, three grandchildren, Jonathan Foster, Christy Tharpe, and Dennis Hayes, and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Foster was a member of the American Legion Post 43. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 17, 2013 from 2 until 3:30 p.m. at the Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 18, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Hebron United Methodist Church with Charles Davis officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mecklenburg County Cancer Association, P.O. Box 383, South Hill, VA.
