Betty McGee

Betty Dale Robbins McGee, 66, of Clarksville, Virginia, passed away on May 7, 2013. She was born in Halifax County on September 11, 1949 to the late Carl and Pauline Robbins. She is survived by her husband, Carl E. McGee; her daughters, Sharon McGee Lane and her husband, Robert of Buffalo Junction, Pamela Vargo-Barker Of Buffalo Junction, and Wendy Dale Pulliam and her husband, Andy of Pittsboro, NC; her sons, Jeremy William Vargo and his wife, Betty of Grassy Creek, NC and Jamie Steve Vargo and his wife, Tracie of Cornwall, NC; sisters, Lois Gwaltney of Chase City and Dorothy Rickman of Red Oak; her grandchildren, Brandy Puryear, Kimberly Faye Lane, Edward Puryear Jr., Kelly Wilmouth , Steven Lacks, Dawson Vargo, Dustin Vargo, and Ashley Renee’ Vargo; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2013 from 7 until 8:30 p.m. at Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 10, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Friendship United Methodist Church cemetery.
