Margaret Jones

Margaret Brewer Jones, 79, of Red Oak, Virginia, passed away on June 2, 2013. She was born in Mecklenburg County on March 1, 1934 to the late George and Drewer Gregory. She is survived by her husband, Ryland Jones; one daughter, Gwendolyn Rogers and her husband, Steven of Randolph, VA; one son, Aubrey Jones of Chase City, VA; a brother, Charles Brewer of Chase City, VA; one grandson, Gregory Rogers of Randolph, VA; two nieces; and her devoted friend, Margaret Allgood. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 from 7 until 8:30 p.m. at Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at 4 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church with Reverend Jane Lyon officiating.
