William "Sammy" Bigger

William Hunton “Sammy” Bigger, Jr., 79, of Keysville, Virginia, passed away on August 1, 2013. He was born on September 7, 1933 to the late William H. Bigger, Sr. and Annie Lee Kirk Bigger. He was predeceased by his wife, Shirley Harding Bigger. He is survived by his two sons, William Bigger and his wife, Amy of Keysville, VA, and Ronnie Bigger and his wife, Connie of Keysville, VA; three sisters, Mary Anne Kunath of Keysville, VA, Betty Lou Echols of Victoria, VA, and Nancy Childers of Victoria, VA; one brother, David Bigger of Chase City, VA; two grandchildren, Mary Kathryn Bigger and Ashley Nicole Bigger; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Bigger was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and an Army Veteran. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 2, 2013 from 7 until 8:30 p.m. at Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
