Ryland Jones

Ryland Allan Jones, 79, of Red Oak, Virginia, passed away on August 17, 2013. He was born on February 15, 1934 in Charlotte County, VA to the late John Herbert and Elsie Richardson Jones. He is predeceased by his wife, Margaret Jones. He is survived by his daughter, Gwendolyn Rogers and her husband, Steven of Randolph, VA; his son, Aubrey Jones of Chase City, VA; a brother, Ray Jones and his wife, Brenda of Red Oak, VA; and one grandson, Gregory Rogers of Randolph, VA. Mr. Jones was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 from 7 until 8:30 p.m. at Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at 3 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Antioch Baptist Church, 6700 Barnesville Highway, Red Oak, VA.
