James Coley, Jr.

James Raymond Coley, Jr., 78, of Henrico County, Virginia passed away on March 31, 2014. He was born on July 1, 1935 in Richmond, Virginia to the late James Raymond Coley, Sr. and the late Irene Fitz Coley. He is survived by his wife, Mildred Smith Coley, one daughter, Laurie Coley Scanlon and her husband Gary of Lynchburg, VA and one granddaughter, Michelle Lynn Blaydes of Lynchburg, VA. He is also survived by two sisters, Marjorie Burmeister and her husband, Jack of Jacksonville, FL and Doris Agee and her husband Bill of St. Augustine, FL, one brother, Richard Warren Coley and his wife Pat of Richmond, VA and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Coley is a United States Army Veteran and a retired Grocery Store Produce Manager. He is a Civil War enthusiast, a Relic Hunter, and Model Railroader. James also loved football and was a Cleveland Browns fan. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2014 at 1 p.m. at the Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home chapel.
