Cynthia "Cindi" Wright

Cynthia “Cindi” Wright, 53, of South Hill, formerly of Chase City, passed away on July 23, 2014. She was born on January 29, 1961 in South Boston, to James Calvin Wright and Mary Fitz Wright of Chase City. She is survived by her brother, Mark Wright and his wife Deborah of Chase City, her nieces and nephews, Sarah, Jennifer, Eddie, Steven, and Chris, and many devoted friends and students. Cindi retired from Park View High School after 30 years, where she taught Biology and Math. She also coached cheer leading, softball, and track. She was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church and the Virginia Education Association. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25, 2014 from 7 until 8:30 p.m. at Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at 1 p.m. at the Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home chapel. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Centenary United Methodist Church, Chase City, VA the American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
