Mrs. Margaret Prince Davis, 84, of Chase City, Virginia passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2015 at W.S. Hundley Annex. She was born on December 15, 1930 in Tucker, Arkansas to the late Hugh William Prince and the late Ella Jane Williams. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Lee Davis, one son, Eddie Hugh, who passed away in August of 1976. Mrs. Davis is survived by her son, Dennis Davis, and wife, Nancy; two grandchildren, Robert Davis, and wife, Stacy; Suzanne Lawson and husband, Richie; one great-grandson, Tristan Richard Lawson; one brother, Charlie Prince, and wife, Winnie, of Wichita, Kansas; caregiver, Hazel Davis, and her many caregivers at the Hundley Annex and Liberty Dialysis Center. She and Harold were united in marriage September 15, 1951, and lived in her current home in Chase City where they cared for her in-laws, Ada Kibler and Edward Clayton Davis for many years. Margaret was employed at Burlington and Narricot Industries. She is a member of Salem United Methodist Church in Chase City, Virginia and was a former Sunday school teacher. The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 11, 2015, from 7-8:30 p.m. at Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home in Chase City, Virginia. Funeral services will be held at Salem United Methodist Church, Highway 47, Chase City, on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow in the church cemetery.
