Adam Davis

Adam Joseph Davis, age 32, of Chase City, Virginia passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2015. He was born on May 27, 1983 in Halifax, VA. He is survived by his father, William Joseph “Bill” Davis of Chase City, mother, Debbie Davis of South Hill, grandmother, Betty Claiborne of Chase City, son, Michael Kent Davis of Illinois, wife and mother of his son, Jennifer Davis of Illinois, brother, Joey Davis and partner, Brian Hassler of Atlanta, GA, sister, Heather Brooke Davis of Durham, NC, nephew, Chris Coleman of Durham, NC and numerous friends. He is predeceased by his grandparents, Roy Claiborne and Bernard and Alene Davis. He is a member of Black Branch Baptist Church. Adam is a United States Marine Corps Veteran of the Iraq War. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2015 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home in Chase City, VA. A graveside service with full military honors will be held on Sunday, December 6, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Woodland Cemetery in Chase City, VA.
