Patsy Mead

Patsy Coleman Mead, age 70, of Chase City, Virginia passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2016. She was born on September 4, 1945 to the late Albert Milligan Coleman and the late Marjorie Wilson Coleman. Mrs. Mead is survived by her husband, Robert Leroy Mead, one daughter, Pamela Mead Johnson and her husband Shane of Chase City, one son, Robert Jeffrey Mead and his wife Leslie of South Boston, two grandchildren, Cole Johnson and Chassity Mead, and her special friends, Teenie Orr, Mahalia Dalanon, and The Golden Girls. She is predeceased by one brother, Donnie Coleman. Patsy is a member of Salem United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. at Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at 2 p.m. at the Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home chapel. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery in Chase City.
