James Luther Dearman, Jr., age 88 of Skipwith, Virginia passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2016. He was born on June 20, 1928 in Milledgeville, Georgia to the late James Luther Dearman, Sr. and the late Lucile Carnes Dearman. Mr. Dearman is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Kates Dearman, daughter, Pamela D. Williams and her companion, Larry Smith of Skipwith, son, James Albert Dearman and his wife, Donna of Skipwith, two grandsons, Carey Roberts and his wife, Laura and Michael Williams and his wife, Sherry and one great-granddaughter, Olivia Roberts. He is also survived by his brother, Roy Dearman of San Antonio, TX, sister, Dorothy Dearman Yates of Carrollton, GA, numerous nieces and nephews and his special friends, Walter Ingram and Paul Kosiba. James is a World War II Navy Veteran, retired Auto Mechanic, and a member of Ephesus United Methodist Church. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Ephesus United Methodist Church. Inurnment will follow in the church cemetery.
