Frances Lenhart

Frances Estelle Lenhart, age 81, of Chase City, Virginia passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2016. She was born on November 23, 1934 in Prince Edward County, Virginia to the late Otis Nelson, Sr. and the late Mabel Newcomb Nelson.

Mrs. Lenhart is survived by her husband of 65 years, Lee Orell Lenhart, Sr., one son, Lee Lenhart, Jr. and his wife, Kim, son-in-law, Larry Gregory, three grandchildren, Robin Bass and her husband, Jay, Alison Yost and her husband, Gene, and Kaitlan Lenhart, and two great-grandchildren, Addison Bass and Jillian Bass. She is also survived by one sister, Patricia Hudson, one brother, William Nelson and his wife, Patsy, numerous nieces and nephews, and her beloved pet, Spud. She is predeceased by her daughter, Sherry Gregory, two sisters, Jean Donaldson and Margaret Hulett and two brothers, James Nelson and Otis Nelson, Jr.
She is a member of Friendship United Methodist Church in Chase City.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 10, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Friendship United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service.
