Mary Frances Bailey

Mary Frances Owen Bailey, age 81, of Fort Mitchell, Virginia passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2017. She was born on June 30, 1935 in Lunenburg County, VA to the late Robert Henry Bohannon and the late Mary Lillian Owen.

She was a member of Salem Christian Church in Fort Mitchell.

Mary Frances is survived by two sons, Bobby Bailey of Fort Mitchell, VA and David Bailey and his wife, Karon of Abilene, VA, one daughter, Donna Phillips and her husband, Bobby of Rock Hill, SC, eight grandchildren, Tanya Marshall, Kristy Elliott, Stephanie Phillips, Courtney Bailey, Russell Phillips, Casey Bailey, Tony Phillips, and Travis Phillips, ten great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She is also survived by her sister, Nancy Watson of Halifax, VA, numerous nieces and nephews, and devoted friends, Arlene Newcomb and Carolyn Ward. She was predeceased by her husband, Earnest Bailey and brother, William Owen.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 4, 2017 at 3 p.m. at Salem Christian Church. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
