Phyllis Carter

Phyllis Ann Carter, our angel, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 12, 2017. She was born in South Hill, Virginia on April 25, 1965 and was 52 years of age.

She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Skipwith, Virginia.

Phyllis is survived by her father and mother, Charles Robert Carter and Linda Lacks Carter of Chase City; three godchildren, Aaron Flynn, Issac Walker, and Jacob Walker; four aunts, Mary Dawson of Chase City, Margaret Flynn and her husband, Randolph of Chase City, Anna Rogers of Brodnax and Peggy Carter of Chase City; one uncle, Marshall Carter of Chase City; special caregiver, Jay Edmonds; and three special friends, Nancy Mull, Patricia McPeters, and Brenda Stebbins.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 14, 2017 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.
