Lois Seay

Lois Edmonds Seay, age 88, of Red Oak, Va passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2017. She was born on October 15, 1928 in Charlotte County, Va to the late Buford Carlyle Edmonds and Mary Sarah Goode Murray Edmonds.

She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

She was predeceased by her parents; one son, Ronald Hagar Seay; two daughters, Mary Helen Seay and Julia Ann "Judy" Seay Ferrell; and eleven brothers and sisters.

Lois is survived by two sons, Ted Williams Seay and his wife, Joyce of Chase City, Va and Frank Daniel "Danny" Seay of Clarksville, Va; one daughter, Diane Seay Cassada and her husband, Willie of Red Oak, Va; four grandchildren, Cynthia Ann "Cindy" Ferrell Spencer, Billie Jo Ferrell Bailey, Steven Robert Spurlock, and Ashleigh Dawn Seay; and five great-grandchildren, Emily Spencer, Haley Spencer, Rachel Chernault, Lance Spurlock, and Laci Spurlock. She is also survived by one sister, Margaret Jones; one brother, Roy Edmonds; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 from 7 until 8:30 p.m. at Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
