Reva Alise Langford

Reva Alise Langford, age 94, of Chester, Virginia, formerly of Chase City, Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2017.

She was born on February 1, 1923 in Charlotte County, Virginia to the late Welton Terry Newcomb and Hattie Walker Newcomb Langford.

Mrs. Langford was the widow of Joe Langford.

She served as medical secretary for several doctors and the Medical College of Virginia during her lifetime. She was a member of Gospel Baptist Church in Richmond, Va.

She is survived by several cousins and close friends.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 4, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Woodland Cemetery in Chase City, Va. Mrs. Langford will be laid to rest beside her husband.
