Ruby Fox

Ruby Mae Bohannon Fox, age 78, of Boydton, VA, passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2017. She was born April 21, 1939 in Chase City, VA to the late John Sammy Bohannon and Gracie Mae Thompson Bohannon.

She was a retired Law Enforcement Officer for Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office.

She was predeceased by her parents; brother, Junior Bohannon; and brother-in-law, Rawley Arrington.

Ruby is survived by her husband, Therman Theodore Fox; son, Danny Ray Fox and wife, Cheryl of Boydton; two grandchildren, Trevor Thomas Fox and wife, Sarah and Danielle Desiree Fox; and great-granddaughter, Ava Grace Fox. She is also survived by her brother, James Edward Bohannon and wife, Pam of Chase City; sister, Dolly Bohannon Arrington of Victoria; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, November 24, 2017 at the Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jeffrey Withers and Reverend Ronnie Campbell officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Concord Baptist Church Cemetery.
