Lucille Wagstaff

Lucille Brewer Wagstaff, age 93, of Chase City, VA, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2018. She was born October 17, 1924 and was the daughter of the late Harold and Mattie Jane Herrin Brewer.

She was a long-time member of New Hope Baptist Church, Skipwith, VA.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 75 years, Cleveland G. Wagstaff, Jr.; two daughters, Carolyn W. Gross and Jane W. Miles; and one granddaughter, Cynthia Dawn Pearce.

Mrs. Wagstaff is survived by her son, Cleveland G. Wagstaff III and wife, Mary; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m, Saturday, May 12, 2018 at the Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home Chapel.
