Nick Jones

Nicholas Lee Jones, age 31, of Red Oak, VA, passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2018. He was born September 12, 1986 in South Boston, VA.

He was a member of Wylliesburg Baptist Church and a carpenter for Cardinal Homes, Inc.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Reginald and Nellie Jones and maternal grandparents, Robert and Violet Shores.

Nick is survived by his parents, Keith Jones and Terri Shores Jones of Red Oak, VA; sister, Nicole Jones Barnes and husband, Mark of Charlotte Court House, VA; two nephews, Brody Jones and Tripp Barnes; two aunts, Wendy Lankford and husband, Robert and Teena “Pixie” Tucker and husband, Rocky; two uncles, Tony Jones and wife, Connie and Paul Jones and wife, Anissa; and numerous cousins. He is also survived by his devoted friends, Daniel Morris and Hursey Hinchey.

Visitation will be held from 7 until 8:30 p.m., Friday, August 31, 2018 at Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m., Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Wylliesburg Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
