Sandra Shearin

Sandra Burns Shearin, age 73, of Chase City, VA, passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2019. She was born August 2, 1945 and was the daughter of the late Roy Jackson Burns and Barbara Champion Burns.

She was preceded in death by her son, Wayne Gray Shearin, Jr.

Sandra is survived by her husband, Wayne Gray Shearin; son, Christopher Jackson Shearin and wife, Shelia of Skipwith, VA; daughter, Ellen Shearin Love and husband, Paul of Baskerville, VA; daughter-in-law, Lydia V. Shearin; grandchildren, Wayne Dale Shearin, Ashley Renae Shearin, Marsha Lynn Shearin, Jolene Amber Shearin, Cindy J. Walker, Christin Love Dweik, and Brandon Paul Love and wife, Ariane; eighteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Jack Burns and wife, Belinda; sister-in-law, Linda Shearin; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, January 11, 2019 at the Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Bluestone Independent Baptist Church Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.newcomballgoodfh.com.
