Larry Gregory

Larry Raymond Gregory, age 76, of Chase City, VA, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2019. He was born April 15, 1942 and was the son of the late Emeron Murray Gregory and the late Esther Fulp Gregory Newcomb.

He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Skipwith, VA.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sherry Lenhart Gregory; brother, Charles Murray Gregory; and mother-in-law, Frances Estelle Lenhart.

Larry is survived by one son, Michael Murray Gregory and wife, Jacqueline; two daughters, Robin Leigh Bass and husband, Jay and Alison Gregory Yost and husband, Gene; and four grandchildren, Nathaniel Marcellus Gregory, Ashli Nicolle Gregory, Addison Marshall Bass, and Jillian Leigh Bass. He is also survived by his father-in-law, Lee Orell Lenhart, Sr. and wife, Pauline; brother-in-law, Lee Orell Lenhart, Jr. and wife, Kim; two step-brothers, Ronnie Newcomb and wife, Frances and Bo Newcomb and wife, Debbie; one step-sister, Sharon Newcomb Hall and husband, C.I.; niece, Kaitlan Dawn Lenhart; and his friends at the Hardee's Old Goat's Club.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, March 23, 2019 at New Hope Baptist Church. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service in the church.
