Lillian Bailey

Lillian Burns Bailey, age 92, of Fort Mitchell, VA passed away Thursday, April 11, 2019. She was born July 24, 1926 in Lunenburg County, VA and is the daughter of the late John Henry Burns and the late Annie Delma Wallace Burns.

She is a member of Salem Christian Church in Fort Mitchell.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Allen Bailey and son, Charlie Allen Bailey, Jr.

Lillian is survived by her son, Larry Elliott “Pop” Bailey and wife, Debbie of Fort Mitchell; daughter, Linda Etna Bailey Owens and husband, Ronnie of Danville; daughter in law, Kathy Bailey of Fort Mitchell; and six grandsons, Daryle Bailey, Chris Bailey and wife, Stephanie, Duane Bailey and wife, Sharon, Jason Bailey and wife, Sandy, Clint Bailey and wife, Billie Jo, and Neil Bailey and wife, Amy. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Tyler, Jonathan, Justin, Annelise, Elena, Christen, Jaycob, Autumn, Colby, Rachel, Kyle, Malia, and Kayla; great-great-grandchildren, Mckennon, Kenley, Ava and S.J; her sister, Louise Burns Bailey; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 13, 2019 at Salem Christian Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family requests that in lieu of bringing food to their home, please bring it to Salem Christian Church on Saturday morning for the celebration of life luncheon that will follow her service.
