Madeline Edwards

Madeline Ashworth Edwards, age 94, of Chase City, Virginia passed away on Monday, October 19, 2020. She was born December 21, 1925 and was the daughter of the late Robert and Blanche Ashworth.

She graduated from Buckhorn High School as the class Valedictorian. She was a member of Concord Baptist Church in Chase City and a Homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lathan Edwards and daughter, Crystal Diane Edwards Shepard.

Madeline is survived by her son, Glenn Edwards (Janice) of Buffalo Junction, VA; grandchildren, Christopher Edwards, Brandon Edwards, and Jeffery Edwards; great-grandchildren, Morgan Edwards, Lathan Edwards, and Jaxon Edwards; brother, Charles Ashworth; numerous nieces and nephews; and her devoted caregivers, Patricia Dodson and Nannie Boyd.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at Concord Baptist Church Cemetery, 11650 Highway 47, Chase City, VA 23924.
