Bob Fox

Therman Theodore “Bob” Fox, age 85, of Boydton, Virginia passed away Friday, March 11, 2022. He was born May 23, 1936 in Mecklenburg County, Virginia and was the son of the late Elijah Ray Fox and the late Florence Morgan Fox.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Mae Bohannon Fox; and sisters, Lucille Tharpe and Estelle Fox.

Bob is survived by his son, Danny Ray Fox (Cheryl) of Boydton; two grandchildren, Trevor Fox (Sarah) and Danielle Fox (Tyler Ashworth); and three great-grandchildren, Ava Fox, Kinsley Fox, and Wyatt Ashworth. He is also survived by his sister, Esther Mills; numerous nieces and nephews; and devoted caregiver, Carrie Haley.

Bob retired from Parker Oil Company as a Fuel Truck Driver. He was a life-long, hard working farmer and enjoyed his horses, cows, and being outdoors. Bob was an avid NASCAR fan and loved baseball.

The family will receive family and friends at Bob’s Home on Sunday, March 13, 2022 at any time. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at Concord Baptist Church Cemetery, 11650 Highway Forty Seven, Chase City, Virginia 23924. Reverend Ronnie Campbell will officiate.
