Nannie Lee Rickman, 81, of Red Oak, Virginia passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at the Clarksville Health and Rehab. She was born September 6, 1940 in Halifax County, Virginia and was the daughter of the late Alex Rickman and the late Lillie Mae White Rickman.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mack Ryland Rickman and sister, Alma Jones.
Nannie is survived by her daughter, Brenda Lee Rickman of Chase City; brother, Ray Rickman (Valeria) of Chase City; sister, Annie Mae Pollard (Arthur) of Ashland; special niece, Connie Rickman Clark; nephews, Scott Pollard and C.T. Jones; and nieces, Charlotte Leach and Linda Queen.
Nannie was a member of Public Fork Christian Church in Red Oak. She retired from Hampco Apparel in Chase City. Nannie enjoyed fishing, animals, gardening and working outside.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, March 18, 2022 at Public Fork Christian Church Cemetery with Pastor Denis Fritz officiating. The family will receive family and friends at the gravesite following the service.
