James Bowman

James Thomas Bowman, age 83, of Red Oak, VA, passed away on June 16, 2011. He is survived by his wife Mildred Bowman, his children, J.T. Bowman Jr. and Terri of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Hazel Jean Smith and Brad of Red Oak, VA, Don Bowman and Janet of Red Oak, VA, Buddy Bowman of Red Oak, VA, Linda Bowman of Red Oak, VA, and Virginia Bowman and Gary Bratten of Chase City, VA, one sister Bessie Buchannan of Clarksville, VA, eleven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by two sons, Loyd Bowman and Dale Bowman. He enjoyed hunting and gardening. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 19, 2011 from 2:30 until 4 p.m. at the Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home chapel. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 19, 2011 at 4 p.m. at the Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home chapel.
