Allen Weston

Allen Grayson Weston, 68, of Skipwith, Virginia passed away Thursday, October 3, 2024. He was born January 8, 1956 in Charlotte County, Virginia and was the son of the late Lloyd Earl Weston and the late Lois Carey Weston. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Dove Weston and granddaughter, Erica Marie Hatcher. 

Allen is survived by his two daughters, Shelly Watson (Jeff) of Victoria, VA and Amy Hatcher of Richmond, VA; grandchildren, Whitney Craighead (Deandre), Chance Hatcher, and Gabrielle Harris; and great-grandchildren, Eisen and Charleigh. He is also survived by his brother, Carl Weston (Hazel); nephew, Bradley Weston (Emily); and three great-nieces, Kylee, Karly, and Kinsley. 

He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Red Oak, Virginia and former employee for Tates Lumber Company. He was an avid NASCAR race fan. Allen really enjoyed participating in tractor pulls, lawnmower pulls, and was a devoted participant in the South Central Fair Demolition Derby for over 20 years.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, October 6, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church with Pastor Kristen White officiating. Following the service, the family will receive friends in the church’s fellowship hall.
