Barbara Hash Guill

Barbara Hash Guill, 84, of Chase City, Virginia passed away Monday, April 22, 2024. She was born May 28, 1939 and was the daughter of the late Thomas Jackson Hash and the late Rosa Lee Moses Hash.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Lee Guill.

Barbara is survived by her son, Braxton Rutledge (Dawn) of Chase City; granddaughters, Shelby Senior (Brian) and Ashley Carroll (Steven); great-grandsons, Zane Senior and Benjamin Carroll; and dear friend, Zelda Guill. She is also survived by her brother, Tommy Hash (Holly) and nephew, Jonathan Hash (Brandee).

She was a member of First Baptist Church in Chase City. She loved her family, flowers and reading.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 26, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Gene Burris officiating. Interment will follow in Woodland Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and all other times at the home of Braxton and Dawn Rutledge.
