Berle Hensley

Milton Berle Hensley, Sr., age 55 of Chase City, Virginia passed away Monday, August 29, 2022. He was born May 16, 1967 and was the son of the late Jerry Hensley, Sr. and the late Mattie East Hensley. He grew up in Charlotte County, Virginia.

Berle is survived by his wife of 30 years, Bethany Taylor Hensley; son, Milton Berle "BJ" Hensley, Jr. (Megan); grandson, Reid Benjamin Hensley; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Benjy and Brenda Taylor. He is also survived by his brothers, Roger Dale Hensley and Jerry Hensley, Jr.; sister, Rachel Claytor; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends.

Berle was a Division Manager of Xylem Tree Experts. He was an avid deer hunter and loved spending time with his family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m., Thursday, September 1, 2022 at Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, September 2, 2022 at the Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at the Taylor Family Cemetery. Pastor Dan Jarrell will officiate.
