Beverly Wallace Berkley, 63, of Lunenburg County, Virginia passed away Monday, October 14, 2024. She was born January 27, 1961 in South Hill, Virginia and was the daughter of the late George Wallace, Jr. and the late Marlene Walters Wallace.
She fought a courageous battle with colon cancer and never questioned "why me?"
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Deborah Hunt and her brother, Willie Wallace.
Beverly is survived by her son, Mickey Womack; sister, Linda Price of Drakes Branch; brothers, George Wallace III (Liz) of Victoria and Aubrey Wallace of Drakes Branch; and sister-in-law, Kimberly Wallace. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Wayne Wallace (Ashley), Tommy Wallace (Linda), Kenneth Daniel (Melanie), Kenneth Wallace (Heather), Douglas Wallace, and Joshua Wallace; great-nieces and great-nephews, Kaitlyn, Thomas, Westley, Remington, Colton, and Ava Rose; and numerous friends.
She was a member of Plantersville United Methodist Church. Beverly was a loving, kind, and calm person unless something made her really mad. She loved her son, all of her family, and animals especially puppies, penguins and piglets. She enjoyed watching birds and other wildlife. She loved comfy clothes and relaxing on the couch watching Christmas movies. Beverly collected and loved anything Mickey Mouse. She enjoyed a good cup of coffee with hazelnut creamer and pasta was her favorite food. Beverly will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Graveside services will be held on Sunday, October 20, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Plantersville United Methodist Church Cemetery in Fort Mitchell, Virginia with Pastor Robert Perrin officiating.
