Christine Moore

Christine Dagenhart Moore, age 76, of Chase City, Virginia passed away Monday, November 21, 2022. She was born September 15, 1946 and was the daughter of the late Eddie Dagenhart and the late Annie Bowman Dagenhart. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lawson Moore and her brother, Robert Dagenhart. 

Christine is survived by her son, Woody Moore (Janice) of Chesterfield, VA; grandson, James Lawson Moore (fiancé, Rochelle Kent) of Virginia Beach, VA; two brothers, Raymond Dagenhart (Christine) and Jerry Dagenhart; two sisters, Judy Hampton and Barbara Willett; numerous nieces and nephews; and many special friends. 

Christine was a life time member of Concord Baptist Church. She loved her church and served many roles, such as decorating, arranging flowers, and assisting with Vacation Bible School. She was a very hardworking woman; she would take care of her family, work long hours as a factory worker and come home and tend to the family farm. Christine enjoyed all kinds of crafting, especially quilting and making wreaths. She also enjoyed dancing, bluegrass, country, and she was an Elvis fan. Christine loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandson. 

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Concord Baptist Church, 11650 Highway 47, Chase City, VA 23924. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Reverend Joe McDowell and Reverend John Mann will officiate. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service in the church.
