Geraldine Hash

Geraldine Garner Hash, age 86, of Chase City, Virginia passed away Thursday, July 28, 2022. She was born January 3, 1936 and was the daughter of the late Woodrow Wilson Garner and the late Willie Mae Edmonds Garner. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Hash. 

Geraldine is survived by her daughters, Linda Hash Lacks (Larry) and Brenda Hash Hamlett (Floyd); son, William David Hash (Patricia); grandchildren, Chris White, Matthew Hash, Logan Lacks, Amy Hamlett, and Skylar Hash; seven great-grandchildren; her beloved dog, Muffin; and her friends from Russell Stover. 

Geraldine was the Payroll Clerk for Russell Stover Candy Factory for 27 years and also was a Licensed Beautician and did hair at her home for many years. She loved her grandchildren and her family above all else.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Herman Newcomb officiating.
