Makayla Kimberly Davis

Makayla Kimberly Davis, 2, of Chase City, Virginia passed away Monday, March 20, 2023. She was born April 15, 2020 in South Hill, Virginia. 

Makayla leaves behind her father and mother, Keymon Fitzgerald Davis and Rebecca Lynne Ryals Davis; her brother, King Maverick Davis; maternal grandparents, Martha Henderson and Stephen Henderson; paternal grandmother, Natasha Hayes; great-grandfather, Larry Hayes; great-grandmother, Diane Lewis; two aunts, Kianya Bouldin and Tazhiana Goode; uncle, Tazhon Goode; and god-father, Roderick Bass. 

Makayla loved bubbles, balls and stuffed animals. She loved watching The Grinch, Bluey, Minions, and Paw Patrol. She loved dragons and she always wanted to fly. 

The family will receive family and friends on Thursday, March 23, 2023 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 24, 2023 at 2 p.m. at her great-grandfathers land (360 Gooch Lane, Chase City, Virginia 23924). Pastor Joshua Brown will officiate.
