Patsy Towery

Patsy Ferrell Towery, 83, of Chase City, Virginia passed away September 4, 2023. She was born June 24, 1940 and was the daughter of the late Charles Elvin Ferrell and the late Ruby Conner Ferrell. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Wayne Towery and her brother, Marvin Ray “Bossie” Ferrell. 

Patsy is survived by her daughter, Karen Towery Pittard (Andy) of Buffalo Junction; son, Mark Wayne Towery (Cindy) of Chase City; grandchildren, Sara Pittard DeJarnette (Mitch), Kristen Anne Pittard (Matt Hart), Nathan Mark Towery (Nicole Newton), and Lindsey Ann Towery; and a great-granddaughter on the way, Hazel Towery (daughter of Nathan and Nicole). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. 

She retired as a Pharmacy Technician from CVS Pharmacy in Chase City. Patsy was a very devoted member of Bethel Baptist Church. Her greatest love and passion were her children, grandchildren and her church. 

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 8, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Bethel Baptist Church, 9040 Trottinridge Road, Chase City, Virginia 23924. Interment will follow in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving family and friends anytime this week at Patsy’s residence.
