Thurman Lee Eastwood, Jr.

Thurman Lee “Runt” Eastwood, Jr., age 59, of Chase City, Virginia passed away on Friday, February 14, 2025. He was born on November 10, 1965 in South Hill and was the son of the late Thurman Lee Eastwood, Sr. and the late Blanche Daniel Eastwood who passed away the day after him.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Rocky Lane Eastwood and a sister, Shelia Marie Eastwood.

Runt is survived by his daughter, Kendra Eastwood; grandson, Liam; brothers, Howard Benjamin Eastwood (Agnes) of Victoria and Bobby Ray Eastwood (Pamela) of Chase City; sister, Annie Faye Eastwood Coleman (Timothy) of Chase City; nieces, Ashley Anthony, Samantha Coleman and Amanda Coleman; and two special friends, Dozer Griffin and Wayne Moody. 

Runt enjoyed riding his moped and tinkering on small engines. 

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. at the Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
