Wanda Carol Seamans, 61, of Raleigh, North Carolina, formerly of Chase City, Virginia passed away Thursday, February 2, 2023. She was born May 18, 1961 and was the daughter of the late George Henry Seamans and the late Bertha Faye Jenkins Seamans.
Wanda is survived by her sisters, Connie Seamans Tucker of Chase City and Debra Seamans of Horizon City, TX; niece, Megan Tucker Hudson of Chase City; nephew, George Matthew Seamans of Horizon City, TX; great-niece, Grace Caroline Hudson; aunt, Syble Adams; and numerous cousins. She is also survived by her special friends, Linda Wesson, Dee Wood, Ceila McCrady, Theresa Hosford and her work family at Salem Senior Housing, Inc.
Wanda was a member of First Baptist Church in Chase City and an Accountant for Salem Senior Housing, Inc.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 5, 2023 at 3 p.m. at the Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Gene Burris officiating. Interment will follow the service in Woodland Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home and all other times at the home of Connie Tucker.
